Harry Perlman is a human Starfleet officer in the Eleventh Fleet, also known as Pegasus Fleet.

Physical Description
Harry is a human male of average height and build. His grizzled face is always smiling and he maintains the robust physique of his youth through exercise and eating right, though lately he's put on a little weight. His brown hair is always in a crew-cut. He wears a goatee that he keeps neatly trimmed and occasionally lets his whiskers grow to a five-o'clock shadow. His brown eyes seem to have a twinkle when he's happy and appear to turn black when he loses his temper.
Personality & Traits
General Overview
Harry loves to have fun, but usually spends most of his time alone. Because of his childhood, he has a deep seated fear of rejection and abandonment so he has a difficult time making friends. When he does manage to make a friend he is loyal and will do anything he can to help if the need arises. His need for acceptance also makes it difficult for him to say no. He has low self-esteem sometimes makes him second-guess his actions and leads him to avoid getting into situations that require him to make important choices. He hates being wrong and often takes criticism personally. He has a tendency to lose his temper rather quickly and often regrets his outbursts immediately afterward.

History
Harry was born in a small town in Illinois. As a child he spent most of his time with neighbors while his parents worked. When he did spend time with his parents, they were usually either yelling at each other or at him.
Harry began spending most of his time alone in his room. He entertained himself by taking his toys apart and trying to put them back together again. Eventually he started taking bigger and bigger things apart. It made him happy to take things apart and put them back together and have them still work.
As a teen, he found a job with a small equipment repair company. He spent a lot of his time there watching the more experienced people work. He learned as much as he could while there, but soon realized that he wanted more. This led him to apply for Starfleet Academy.
At the Academy, Harry had difficulty making friends. It usually depressed him when the others would start talking about their families. Harry soon withdrew from the social groups and spent most of his time working on special projects. He almost lost his place at the Academy when he was caught trying to disassemble one of the Academy’s shuttles. He managed to put the shuttle back together and actually made it work better than it did before. As a result, the Academy gave him a verbal warning and let the issue go.
After graduation, Harry was assigned to the USS Washington as an Engineering Officer.
