"The final word in aeronautic starfighter superiority. Accept no substitutes."

That's the motto of the Blink Starfighter wing. With staggering maneuverability and impressive firepower for a starfighter sized craft, the Mark One Blink Fighter has been so successful that updates to the design were almost deemed impossible to achieve. Rest assured, perfection has indeed been improved upon. Or so the minds at the Impossible Sciences division have stated. For the current aces, though, there is no substitution. No alternative. No update. The Mark One Blink Fighter's Blink Engine allows it to avoid any attack it can anticipate or detect, while maneuvering to place itself in the perfect spot to deliver the kill.

If the Blink Fighter has any form of flaw, it is the lack of faster than light travel. The Mark One is technically a short-range fighter due to that limit, as Ts'usugi science has yet to perfect a Dark Drive small enough to fit in a fighter. To that, the aces smile and just nod. Perfection exists at short range, they say.
