Bio
Cody's dad was unable to join Starfleet due to an injury he sustained when he was a child, and now lives vicariously through his son, Cody's career. The constant travel helped Cody's mother become exposed to new cultures and different types of food. Now that Cody's father is retired she has opened her own restaurant in Mobile, Alabama that is an interesting mix on several alien dishes with a Gulf Coast Cajun flair.
Growing up traveling with his father and gaining an appreciation for other cultures from his mother it was only a natural step for him to join Starfleet. Cody has slowly been working his way up through promotions and hard work to become a department head. Ultimately Cody wishes to become a ship's captain before retiring. Once he retires Cody plans on joining a colony and building a life on an unconquered planet
