Discovery (NX-04) is an NX-class starship commissioned in 2155 under the command of Captain Christina Curtis.

Crew

As of the ship's launch in 2155, Humans comprise the entirety of the ship's 83-strong crew compliment, with the exception of Doctor Maya, the ship's Vulcan chief medical officer. Starfleet regulations have allowed for non-terrans to form parts of starship crews since former Vulcan Sub-Commander T'Pol and Doctor Phlox were both assigned as senior personnel aboard the first NX-class ship Enterprise.

Crew evaluations are conducted every twelve months, and are supervised by the ship's department heads.
