Vice Admiral Emily Quinn is a Federation Starfleet officer serving as the Director of Research & Development for the Eleventh Fleet. Prior to taking the position, she is most noted for her leadership in the designing of the Vesta-class and the development of the quantum slipstream drive. She also served as commanding officer of the USS Vesta during the new vessel's shakedown cruise.
