Vice Admiral Emily Quinn is a Federation Starfleet officer serving as the Director of Research and Development for the Eleventh Fleet. Prior to taking the position, she is most noted for her leadership in the designing of the Vesta-class and the development of the quantum slipstream drive. She also served as commanding officer of the USS Vesta during the new vessel's shakedown cruise.
