Task Force Commanding Officer
A Task Force Commanding Officer is a senior member of the Fleet's hierarchy, and is in direct charge of up to two dozen starships and starbases of various classes within their Task Force. They have the responsibility to represent the Commanding Officers under them on the Pegasus Fleet Admiralty, to manage and delegate responsibilities to their Task Group Commanding Officers and to ensure that disciplinary actions are taken on any COs for any actions or inactions which require such a result. They are also primarily responsible for the review and acceptance or denial of any application for a member of Starfleet to become a new Commanding Officer within the fleet.
