The Artaleirh system was a star system within the space of the Romulan Star Empire. Although there is considerable evidence of the system's habitation extending back nearly two and a half billion years, there is as yet no known evidence of indigenous sentient ever evolving on any of the planets themselves.

The Artaleirh system's primary planetary location of note was the world of Artaleirh, the second terrestrial planet and third planet in the Artaleirh Starsystem. However, there are currently a total of eleven planets in the system, with two planets being captured rough planets, both of them terrestrial planets.

Prehistory

Although no indigenous sentient life evolved anywhere within the star system, archaeological evidence has suggested that at least one planet was host to a civilization a little over two and a half billion years ago.
