A peaceful visit to an alien paradise seems to be exactly what the crew of the [[USS Eagle]] need after their long journey to Galactic South from Earth.  When the son of [[Mark Anderson|Captain Anderson]] is kidnapped, they quickly learn this perfect facade is hiding a dark secret that will astonish the crew and force them to question their very ideals.  In a society where children have been outlawed, the <i>Eagle</i>'s crew are left with few leads and little assistance from the alien leaders in their search for the captain's missing son.  They must compete against the clock and the limitations of the Prime Directive to find James before it is too late...
