Office of Public Relations Standing Orders
1. Chief of Public Relations
- The Chief of Public Relations (CPR) shall be a voting member of the Pegasus Fleet Admiralty;
- The CPR shall supervise the operations of both the Personnel and Communications Advisors, upon appointment by the Fleet Admiralty;
- The CPR shall be responsible for the Fleet’s communication and relationships with other communities;
- The CPR shall serve as a resource to any and all persons looking for information about the fleet;
- The CPR shall be responsible for developing and maintaining Fleet’s morale;
- The CPR shall maintain a Leave of Absence list for all members of the fleet’s leadership;
- The CPR shall operate all of the Fleet’s community and recruitment related activities (including the fleet’s forums, chat server, social media and recruitment accounts, as well as community-wide events).
2. Asst. Chief for Personnel
- The Asst. Chief for Personnel (ACP) shall coordinate the transfer of any player from one Pegasus Fleet simulation to another Pegasus Fleet simulation;
- The ACP shall coordinate the resignation/removal of any simulation’s Commanding Officer using the following procedure:
- Contact the simulation’s crew with seven days to either assume command, transfer to another simulation, or be removed from the game’s manifest;
- Should a crew member step up for command, the s/he will be guided through the application process;
- Should a crew member request transfer, the ACP will facilitate the move;
- Should a crew member request to be removed, the ACP will clear the player from the ship’s records.
- Contact the simulation’s crew with seven days to either assume command, transfer to another simulation, or be removed from the game’s manifest;
- The ACP shall keep the CPR CC’d in all official correspondence;
- Additional duties may be given at the discretion of the CPR.
3. Asst. Chief for Communications
- The Asst. Chief for Communications (ACC) shall assist the CPR in maintaining the Fleet’s social media presence;
- The CC shall serve as a recruitment resource to Commanding Officers;
- The ACC shall support Commanding Officers in writing a recruitment advertisement for his/her simulation;
- The ACC shall not write an advertisement on behalf of a Commanding Officer, but s/he may post an advertisement on the behest of the CPR.
- The ACC shall keep the CPR CC’d in all official correspondence;
- Additional duties may be given at the discretion of the CPR.
