Iluvar was one of the founding members of Pegasus Fleet when he joined in the Fall of 2009 as Rear Admiral Benjamin Edwards, Pegasus Fleet Executive Officer. In the Spring of 2011, Iluvar returned to Pegasus Fleet with the character of Commander Mark Anderson in the hopes of bringing to life an idea for a new simm.  A petition was brought to the Pegasus Fleet Admiralty which soon appointed Commander Anderson to command the fleet's very first {{Class|Sentinel}} starship...{{USS|Eagle}}.  The character of Mark Anderson was soon joined by the addition of Lieutenant JG Michael Watters of the USS Endeavour, Lieutenant Andrew Sheppard of the USS Vesta, and Professor Eldred Skyler, PhD (PNPC) of the Galactic Anthropology Committee, bringing the character base up to three playing characters and one staff character.

February 2012 marked another difficult period for Iluvar in the form of increasing demands upon his time from both real life and the simming world.  These demands began affecting his ability to keep up with the various commitments he had made within the Eleventh "Pegasus" Fleet and eventually led him to feel he was not able to continue commanding the {{USS|Eagle}} in an efficient manner.  Although he officially resigned his position as Commanding Officer on 16 February 2012, he continued to serve in Pegasus Fleet aboard the {{USS|Endeavour}} and {{USS|Vesta}} through March of that year.  Once again, Iluvar found it increasingly difficult to devote the time and dedication he believed his fellow simmers deserved, leading him to withdraw from active participation in the Pegasus Fleet Community for a second time.

Clement (whose "real life" name is Doug) is currently an active member of the Eleventh "Pegasus" Fleet community.

Player History

Doug has been involved in Star Trek role-playing for nearly ten years. He first joined the Pegasus Fleet community at its founding in October 2009. Since that time, he has written for a handful of active playing characters across several member simulations. Doug has also served in positions of staff leadership. He is most noted for his service as Pegasus Fleet Executive Officer (2009-2010), Argonaut Task Group Commanding Officer (2011-2012), and Commanding Officer of the Sentinel-class USS Eagle (2011-2012).

In 2014, the demands of "real life" forced Doug to take a sabbatical from simming. This included stepping down from his commitments and participation within the Pegasus Fleet community. It was a difficult decision for him to make given his passion for written, not to mention the community itself.

The "real life" commitments that had necessitated Doug's sabbatical had mostly sorted themselves out by early 2017. It was around this time that he began searching for a simming community. His hope was that getting involved in simming again might help him to reclaim some of that creative spirit and camaraderie he'd enjoyed before.
