The USS Komorkis (NCC-84322) is a 24th century Federation Insignia class starship operated by Starfleet and assigned to the Eleventh Fleet. Currently, the Komorkis is under the command of Commander Eranfel.

History
Construction and Launch
After dealing with years of crisis and war the Federation, as well as Starfleet, was eager to return back to its primary focus of exploration and discovery. In the year 2393, an Insignia-class starship known as the USS Komorkis was commissioned by Starfleet. Coincidentally around that very time, the Kroplasin government had approached the Federation and offered an exchange of technology as they began talks of joining the Federation as well. This technology was the fabled Multitronic computer core that no other species throughout the Alpha or Beta quadrant had mastered. A single core so advanced that it could run an entire starship. It was decided that the USS Komorkis was be built securely and secretly at the Gavor Shipyard and also become the testbed for the Multitronic computer core.
Shortly after that decision was made the admiralty decided on Commander Eranfel as the commanding officer for the Komorkis. He was charged with a five-year mission to seek out new life and search for the unknown, to explore where none have dared to go, and to dream with the brightest minds that Starfleet had. His ship and its eight mission swappable wedges for the saucer would all be set for exploration with an emphasis on the sciences, medical, and engineering departments. If necessary however it is prepared to face the shadows that arise of enemies who would do the Federation harm. But this was a ship meant for exploration, and with it, set to be home to one of the most diverse crews and minds that Starfleet had put together, along with its most advanced technology available. The Komorkis was prepared to be a beacon for the Federation.
